The President of the CIS expresses his agreement with the initiative for the Court of Auditors to audit the activity of this body.
  • 18 SEP 2024

In response to the request from the PP and Vox to the Court of Auditors, approved by the Joint Committee Congress-Senate on September 17, to prepare an audit report of the Center for Sociological Research, as president of the CIS I want to point out that we will be happy to collaborate with that institution so that it can carry out carry out such work. The policy of transparency and collaboration with other institutions that the CIS, since I became president in 2018 (and I understand that before as well), has marking the line of professional action of all of us who work in this institution. The audit of the CIS by the Court of Auditors is especially useful for organizations like this, as it can help improve our work and continue recommendations that are always very useful, as was the case with the assessments and recommendations that were made to us after their last audit, which ended on October 31, 2019. We therefore remain at the disposal of the decisions adopted by the Court of Accounts, who knows that he will always have our full collaboration to carry out carry out their task.
