General information

Scientific publications represent a particular field of editorial activity that, for its recognition in the academic and research field, must comply with quality procedures and standards. In this sense, the CIS adjusts its manuscript selection and editing processes to the standards established by the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT), the National Agency for Quality Assessment and Accreditation (ANECA) and the Union of Spanish University Editorials (UNE), based on the selection based on evaluators carried out by specialists external to the publishing entity (per review).

THE CIS has a catalog of publications with more than 600 titles organized into ten collections, with a variety of themes. It has a quarterly scientific journal REIS, Spanish Journal of Sociological Research, indexed in the main international repositories.

Yearbooks are also published, which compile the data obtained in opinion barometers carried out throughout the year.

This entire list of publications can be purchased through our Bookstore, in paper or electronic format, and some of these publications and collections are already available openly in our library section.

In the historical publications section, you can freely consult the content of the Spanish Journal of Public Opinion (REOP), predecessor to the REIS, and the data from some public opinion studies.
