This Award is a recognition of contribution and scientific work in the field of Sociology or Political Science and is awarded for a professional career or a singular work. María Ángeles Durán has a PhD in Political Science, a degree in Political and Economic Sciences (Political section). She has been Professor of Sociology at the Faculty of Economic Sciences of the University of Zaragoza and head of the Chair at the Faculty of Economic Sciences of the Autonomous University of Madrid.
