The Institution has organized a working group on women in Sociology with the participation of sociologists, María Ángeles Durán, Constanza Tobío, Inés Alberdi and Eva Sotomayor. This year the CIS will present its recently published book “Social changes in times of pandemic” at the Fair, it will be next Tuesday, May 31 at the CaixaBank Pavilion at 8:00 p.m. We will also have two signings scheduled: Carlota Solé, on Tuesday, May 31 from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. and on Thursday, June 2, Inés Alberdi will be there from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The main objective of the editorial work of the institution is to disseminate the most relevant research carried out in the field of social sciences, as well as to promote the exploitation of the data they generate to contribute to a better knowledge of Spanish society and thus offer way a quality public service to citizens.
