The library of the Sociological Research Center has reopened its doors to the public after a remodeling of the space. It is open to all users over 18 years of age who need to use its funds and services; preferably teachers, researchers and students. The service is done by appointment and the hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The room has 10 places for study and a computer for catalog consultation . All funds are available for consultation in the Reading Room as long as their state of conservation allows it. Users must ensure correct handling of the funds consulted. Consultation room of the CIS Library. The collection of this library began in 1963 with the creation of the IOP (Institute of Public Opinion), the seed of the current CIS, since then its main function has been the formation, custody and dissemination of the bibliographic fund of the CIS and to support the work researcher and teacher developed by the Agency. For this purpose, it has a complete bibliographic collection, both monographs and periodical publications, specialized mainly in topics of sociology and political science.
