- Resolution of September 5, 2022 , of the Presidency of the Center for Sociological Research, by which powers are delegated.

- Decree 8/1968, of January 3 , creating the Institute of Public Opinion.
- Order of May 31, 1974 , approving the Internal Regulations of the Institute of Public Opinion.
- Order of June 23, 1975 , establishing the organizational structure of the Institute of Public Opinion.
- Royal Decree 2512/1976, of October 30 , which structures the Institute of Public Opinion.
- Change of name to Directorate General of the Center for Sociological Research . Royal Decree 2761/1977, of October 28, reorganizing the Presidency of the Government.
- Order of February 15, 1978 , regulating the organization and activities of the General Directorate of the Center for Sociological Research.
- Order of December 13, 1978 , regulating the use of the Data Archive of the Center for Sociological Research.
- Order of February 14, 1984, regulating cooperation agreements in the field of sociological research.
- Creation of the Center for Sociological Research as an Autonomous Organization. Law 4/1990, of June 29 , on the General State Budget for 1990.
- Royal Decree 1526/1990 , of November 8, on the organization of the Center for Sociological Research.
