The CIS annually calls for grants to promote and stimulate applied social research in areas of interest to the organization. These research grants are primarily intended for the exploitation of its database and the completion of doctoral theses in political science or sociology.

Order PRE/593/2016 , of April 21, approves the regulatory bases for granting these research grants.

BESIDES:

Curriculum Vitae (max. 6 pages)

Documentation supporting research carried out in the last 5 years.

Proof of holding a master's degree, access to a doctorate, DEA, research proficiency or doctoral degree (mandatory for the team's IP).

Brief report on the research project or thesis (300-word report with an anonymized version. Optionally, and for a better evaluation of the project, a longer report of up to 2,500 words may be submitted).

For doctoral thesis completion grants: Proof from the supervisor that the thesis is in the completion phase. Certificate from the university to which the thesis was submitted for review.

The documentation must be completed and submitted as a digitally signed PDF using recognized certificates included in the " Trusted List of Certification Service Providers " (TSL) established in Spain.

 

Application submission deadline

20 business days, starting on the day following the publication of the extract of the Resolution in the Official State Gazette (BOE). From April 23 to May 21, inclusive.
