Publication of marginals and crosses in open Excel format

• The (marginal) results, cross-references, and other relevant documentation from the surveys will be available in Excel format, both for the preliminary and final studies, starting in February.

Starting in February 2025, the CIS will provide a new reusable Excel (.xlsx) document on its website for both progress reports and final studies.

This file will allow you to navigate, using an index, through tabs containing the most significant results and cross-references. It will also include information related to the study, such as the technical specifications and the vote estimate, where applicable.

This measure is in line with the open data policies reflected in EU Directive 2019/2014 on open data and the reuse of public sector information, transposed by Royal Decree-Law 24/2021, as well as with the data economy and artificial intelligence strategies developed in the Digital Spain 2025 Plan.
