Access to housing continues to worry 42.6% of Spaniards, a figure that is on the rise, three percentage points higher than the previous month, according to the CIS Barometer for January 2026. Economic problems are the second most common concern, cited by 21.2% of respondents, and the government, or specific parties or politicians, are the third most frequent issue, at 16.6%.
If the hierarchy of concerns is considered in the personal sphere, "the economic crisis" appears first with 30.3%, followed closely by housing, with 28.2% of the responses, and health with 21.7%.
It is worth noting that, among the younger respondents, housing also appears as the primary personal problem, from 18 to 24 years old (29.2%) and from 25 to 34 years old (30.5%).
