The president of the Center for Sociological Research, José Félix Tezanos, received the Medal of the UNED International Doctoral School this morning at a solemn academic ceremony held in the auditorium of the Faculty of Education at the University City of Madrid.
The Rector of the UNED, Ricardo Mairal Usón, presented the medal to the president of the CIS "in recognition of his work and dedication to this School," as part of the celebration of the International Doctoral School Day, on its tenth anniversary.
The prestigious scientist Mariano Barbacid was responsible for delivering a keynote lecture on "New Therapies in Oncology."
