84.8% of Spaniards believe that the working and sporting conditions of female soccer players must be improved

The monthly barometer for October carried out by the Sociological Research Center includes the usual questions of each month, as well as current social questions and the assessment of ministers.

This study asked about women's football as a result of the victory in the World Cup and the controversies that have arisen. 84.8% of those surveyed have assured that the working conditions of women footballers and men must be improved. sports resources

77.6% believe that Spanish sports federations should include more women on their boards of directors and coaching and technical staff.

55.9% have stated that they are aware of the employment situation of female footballers in Spain and the reason for the strike, while 42% have indicated that they are unaware of their economic and working conditions.

When comparing men's and women's soccer in our country, 55.7% said that there is greater sportsmanship in women's soccer, compared to 8.5% who said that there is greater sportsmanship in men's soccer. The same thing happens when asking about the atmosphere in the stands, where 59.8% say that there is a better atmosphere in the stands in women's soccer, and only 13.8% in men's soccer.

67% of those surveyed also believe that there is better fan behavior in women's soccer, compared to 8.9% who believe that there is better behavior in men's soccer. And 62.4% claim that there are fewer insults from fans in women's football.

Vote estimate

Regarding this month's vote estimate, the PSOE stands at 32.6% of the votes, practically equal to the PP, with 32.2%. Sumar would be the third political force with 12.7% and VOX would be at 10.1%. Esquerra Republicana reaches 1.9% and Junts remains at 1.3%.

Leaders assessment

Pedro Sánchez, with an average of 4.51, is the highest rated leader, followed by Yolanda Diaz who achieves a 4.49, and Alberto Núñez Feijóo with a 4.48. At the same time, 40.1% of those surveyed who give their opinion prefer Pedro Sánchez as President of the Government, followed by Feijóo, with 32.3%, and Yolanda Diaz in third position with 12.5%.

Regarding the evaluation of ministers that the CIS carries out every 3 months, the acting minister Margarita Robles continues to be the best valued with 5.29, in second position is Nadia Calviño with 5.21 and in third place is the vice president Yolanda Díaz with a 4.77.

Economic situation

When asked about their personal economic situation, the population who claims that it is “very good or good” increases to 69.9%. On the other hand, 20.8% consider that “it is bad or very bad.”

Those surveyed believe that the problems that affect them the most are “the economic crisis, economic problems” (40.9%), health in second place (16.6%) and political problems in general (15.7%). %) in third position.

In addition, this barometer has also asked about climate change and the invasion of Ukraine. Regarding climate change, 78.8% claim to be very/fairly concerned about this issue. And 68.7% are quite worried about the invasion of Ukraine.
