The Postgraduate Course aims to contribute to the training of university graduates in social research techniques, placing special emphasis on data collection, analysis, interpretation, and presentation, all with an essentially practical focus.
To this end, up to a maximum of 22 places are being offered, which will be awarded through the selection of candidates who meet the requirements established in the call for applications. Ten tuition grants will be awarded to applicants admitted to the course, amounting to half of the tuition fee. Two of the course places will be reserved for individuals with a 33% or greater disability. If these places cannot be filled in the manner indicated, they will become part of the general quota.
All teaching and research activities will be conducted in person at the Center for Sociological Research, provided health conditions permit; otherwise, for exceptional reasons, they will be conducted online.
The course is structured in two modules with the following contents:
Module 1. RESEARCH METHODOLOGY IN SOCIAL SCIENCES.
Module 2. ANALYSIS AND INTERPRETATION OF SURVEY DATA.
The teaching of each module includes theoretical and practical classes. Practical exercises are supervised by professors and CIS professionals.
