Department of Information and Communications Technologies

The Department of Information and Communications Technologies will be responsible for the following functions:

  • Defining and overseeing the implementation of the center's information and communications technology strategy, in accordance with the digital transformation guidelines adopted by the General State Administration.
  • The development of information systems necessary for the operation of services and for the analysis and exploitation of available data for the evaluation of public policies.
  • Driving digital transformation and technological innovation at its core.
  • The management and administration of voice and data communication networks.
  • The implementation of computer security measures.
  • Coordination and supervision of the personal data protection policy within the scope of the center's responsibilities.
  • Internet domain management, development of web portals, the electronic headquarters, and the center's intranet.
  • Prepare status reports and action plans for the Department, which will be submitted to the person holding the Presidency of the center.
  • Perform all those functions that are expressly entrusted to him/her by the person holding the Presidency of the center.
