Juan Diez Nicolas
(October 1976 - April 1979)
Professor of Sociology at the UCM. Between 1973 and 1982, he held various positions in the governments of Adolfo Suárez and at the UCD. He was a representative of the Spanish Parliament (1974-1976). He was awarded the National Prize for Political Science and Sociology from the CIS in 2012. He was also Grand Cross of the Civil Order of Alfonso X the Wise (2015). He is a member of the Royal Academy of Moral and Political Sciences.
