Nota de prensa
Madrid, May 26, 2021 . The Center for Sociological Research has launched the Permanent Observatory on Social Exclusion and Inequality (OPED) and the Observatory on Trends in the Functioning of the Autonomous State (OTEA) . Both observatories will be made up of multidisciplinary experts of recognized prestige in their areas of knowledge.
The objective of these two observatories is to analyze the existing trends in public opinion on certain aspects of the Spanish sociological reality, such as social exclusion and inequality, as well as the functioning and evolution of the Autonomous State.
Based on the work and proposals of these Observatories, the CIS will carry out periodic monographic surveys to collect data that can be analyzed, giving rise to eventual publications and reports based on historical data series.
With these Observatories, the demands made by the scientific community in these areas are met, thus bringing together the CIS two groups of multidisciplinary experts, of a plural nature, who will carry out rigorous diagnoses on the existing challenges in two areas as relevant as the territorial and the inequality.
