The PSOE is the most voted force in Sunday's municipal elections
- According to the Flash survey carried out by the CIS, the PSOE would obtain 30.2% of the votes in the next municipal elections, the PP would be the second force with 27.9%, VOX and Podemos would be at 8% and Ciudadanos would be would remain at 2%
- 55.7% of the people interviewed rate the management carried out by their mayor during the last year as very good or good
- 25.5% of those surveyed decide which political party or coalition to vote for during the electoral campaign
Madrid, May 22, 2023 . The Center for Sociological Research has carried out a flash survey on the municipal elections of May 28. The PSOE would be the first force with 30.2%, the PP is 2.3 points away with 27.9%, VOX would achieve 8%, Podemos and its confluences 8%, Ciudadanos would remain at 2%. and Esquerra Republicana would get 2.5%.
Regarding the work of the mayors during the last year, 55.7% of the people interviewed described their management as "good or very good", while 32% described it as "bad or very bad". 9.2% say fair.
Regarding the voting decision, 25.5% of those surveyed decide the political party or coalition to vote for during the electoral campaign. 7.7% decide it during the reflection day.
Furthermore, 66.7% of those surveyed believe that in local elections the electoral campaign mainly provides unnecessary propaganda. While 29.2% believe that it provides useful information that helps decide what to vote for.
The data from this survey carried out between May 16 and 18, with a sample of 4,549 interviews, are available to all media and interested people on the website of the Sociological Research Center (www.cis.es).
