The president of the CIS, José Félix Tezanos, and the president of the Global Democracy and Development Foundation of the Dominican Republic, Leonel Fernández, have signed a collaboration agreement to promote the development of training, study and research in Sociology.
The heads of both institutions have highlighted in the agreement the interest in research and study of matters such as the institutionalization of democracy and the rule of law, economic development and social equality or the protection of the environment and natural resources. , among other issues.
The activities on which this collaboration agreement focuses are: the training of specialists in applied social research and data analysis through seminars, workshops and work courses; studies and research; exchange of information and publications; exchange of researchers; and protocols and cooperation agreements for the implementation of joint activities with public or private institutions, national or international.
