The Centro de Investigaciones Sociológicas is the entity responsible for the data file generated with the personal data supplied by users of the portal www.cis.es.

In accordance with Organic Law 15/1999 dated 13 December on Personal Data Protection, the Centro de Investigaciones Sociológicas promises to comply with its obligation of secrecy concerning personal data and its obligation of treating this as confidential. To this end, it will adopt the necessary measures to avoid the alteration, loss, processing or unauthorised access to said data.

The collection and automated processing of personal data is carried out to manage, render, extend and improve the services requested by users at all times and to follow up user enquiries.

Users may exercise their access, rectification, cancellation or opposition rights, by visiting the Information and IT Division at C/Montalbán 8, 28014 MADRID (Spain) or in writing, accompanied by a photocopy of the sender's national ID document to the aforementioned address.

You will have the option of exercising your rights to access, rectify, cancel and oppose your personal data held on the files of the CENTRO DE INVESTIGACIONES SOCIOLÓGICAS, by requesting this by any means accrediting the request was sent and received. To exercise your rights, you may address your request in writing to address of the Information and IT Division (Centro de Investigaciones Sociológicas) indicating Privacy Policy at the top.

THE CENTRO DE INVESTIGACIONES SOCIOLÓGICAS maintains levels of personal data protection in accordance with ROYAL DECREE 1720/2007, dated 21 December, which passed the executive regulation of Organic Law 15/1999, dated 13 December, on Personal Data Protection, and has put in place the technical measures available to it to avoid the loss, misuse, alteration, unauthorised access and theft of the data you have submitted to the CENTRO DE INVESTIGACIONES SOCIOLÓGICAS, notwithstanding that security measures on internet are not impregnable.

THE CENTRO DE INVESTIGACIONES SOCIOLÓGICAS reserves the entitlement to modify this Privacy Policy to adapt it to new developments in legislation, jurisprudence or in interpretation by the Spanish Data Protection Agency. APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION

In order to resolve any conflict that may arise through visiting the Portal or through use of the services offered therein, the Centro de Investigaciones Sociológicas and the User agree to submit themselves to the Judge and Tribunals corresponding to the User's home address, as long as this is located within Spanish territory.
