Welcome to the press room of the Centro de Investigaciones Sociológicas (CIS), the space for information professionals.

Our aim is to ensure that media professionals can access CIS information as quickly and as easily as possible.

The press area is divided into sections. In Latest research studies you will find the most recent barometer report, giving the opinions of Spaniards on a variety of different subjects, as well as its preceding study to enable comparison of the data.

New publications is where you will find the latest published works, together with a brief description. You can also search all of the CIS’s publications, including the Revista Española de Investigaciones Sociológicas, by author or by subject.

In Sociology Awards you may view the list of sociologists who have received this award, as well as their biographies.
