The CIS

Organic structure

The CIS carries out its activities through the following organisational structure:

Presidency (which has a functional support unit)
Secretariat-General
Research Department
Data Bank Department
Publications and Research Development Department

The Advisory Board acts as a consultative body to the Centre.

The CIS has a staff of approximately 100 people -civil servants and employees-, including technical, administrative and support personnel.
