Service Charter

The Service Charter describes the services provided by the Centre for Sociological Research, the rights of members of the public in their dealings with CIS, and the organisation’s commitment to quality in management. Through this Service Charter, members of the public can find out what services they can receive and their associated quality commitments.

Users may present their complaints and suggestions regarding these services and the work of the CIS in general, in accordance with the procedure established in R.D. 951/2005, of 29 July (BOE 3 September), in the following places and using the following procedures:

  • In person using the form available at the Register of the CIS General Secretary's Office, and in general, any official State Government register.
  • Through the CIS e-Office at the Ministry of the Presidency, using a recognised electronic certificate to identify the citizen as set out in current legislation on electronic signatures (
