The Training Scholarships for Post-graduate in Matters of Interest for the Organism programme seeks to contribute to the education of professionals in the production and analysis of statistical data. During their stay at the Centro de Investigaciones Sociológicas, students get hands-on knowledge of the process of producing statistical data, and the development of quantitative research projects from their earliest stages. This process begins with the first idea for approaching and limiting the social reality that will be studied. It then goes through a number of operations, such as the design of the questionnaire, the design of a sample, codification, data quality tests, and finally the publication of results.

The Order PRE/3465/2009, of 18 December 2009, approves regulatory new bases for the granting by the Centro de Investigaciones Sociológicas of these scholarships.

Summary of the 2010 Edition
Notice for applications	September-November each year. Resolution of the President of CIS on 23rd/12/09 (BOE 31st/12/09).
Objective	Training of postgraduates in the methods and techniques that utilize to applied social research, through participation in research and training activities carried out at the CIS.
Number of scholarships and amounts	7 scholarships with an annual amount of € 12,190 each.
Requirements	Graduate or Bachelor or homologized foreign title, obtained within 4 previous years to the date of issue of the notice. Average mark of at least 1.8.
Required documentation	Form (see example); 1 ID-size photo; photocopy of the DNI (National Identification Document); curriculum vitae; academic certificates with grades and accreditation of the curriculum vitae.
Application deadline	15 calendar days from the publication of the notice for applications in the BOE (Official State Gazette).
Current situation	The scholarships have already been granted by Resolution of 22/02/10.
