Since 1979, the CIS has been measuring public opinion each month in relation to the political and economic situation of the country and its outlook for development. Furthermore, each Barometer covers subjects of social, economic and political importance at that time.
The results are published on the web page:
- First as preliminary results, produced 15 days after
completion of the field work and data coding and recording.
- Next, the barometers, just as the rest of the surveys conducted, undergo a process of verification, refining,
application of anonymity, cataloguing and electronic database input, upon which they are then
incorporated into the Data Bank as final results.
Questions that are recurrent over a period of time are used to prepare the Barometer Indicators.
