Consumer Confidence Indicator.

The CCI offers an insight into consumers' spending intentions, asking them about their current perception of the country's economy and its future prospects, their family economy and employment. It is based on a monthly survey carried by telephone on a sample of 1,400 private individuals over the age of 16, representative of Spanish society as a whole.

The ultimate objective of this indicator, within the battery of economic indicators drawn up by Spanish institutions, is to be a useful tool for interpreting and predicting how private consumption will evolve in Spain.
